Posted by JavierChua in

The time right now is about 2am and I’m feeling very glad and happy as I managed to learn something great in my life recently. I have been reading Robert Kiyosaki’s Increase Your Financial IQ book and there wrote a very interesting concept about whenever you solve your personal financial problems, you will gain some financial IQ in yourself and the more problems you solve, the more financial knowledge you will gain in life and the richer you will become. I did not really grab this concept well until something happen in my own personal relationship with my girlfriend. …..Click here to read more

Today (27 Nov 2009, Saturday)  is a great day for me although the weather is pretty bad as it keep on raining. However, I can still feel the happiness in myself as I managed to bring back a lot of joyful memories of the past. This morning I went for my usual driving lesson as today is public holiday and I asked two of my friends whether they want to join me for swimming in the afternoon. One of my friends agreed, while another not confirm and we decided to meet at 2pm as my friend just came back from his chalet. The sky was still quite bright and shiny when i cycle out of my house but when I about to reach my destination, it started to rain heavily and I was caught in the rain. When I reach the shelter, I gave my friend a call and realized that he wanted to change the timing to 2.30pm instead but didn’t manage to get me as I didn’t answer my call while I was cycling. He said that if I have saw his message or picked up his call, I might not have caught up with the rain. …..Click here to read more

Kenko Fish Spa Leisure Lifestyle

Posted by JavierChua in

Kenko Fish Spa at Singapore FlyersYestersday, I went to enjoy Kenko Fish Spa with my dear, Jocelyn as we felt that our legs are feeling very tired. The reason why my legs were tired was due to my weekly running as I have managed to complete 15 rounds of running (about 6KM) for my personal training. This was the first time that I have run past the 5KM mark and this actually caused my knees to ache without any warning. However, I decided to rest for a week to see how my condition is going before continuing my run to increase another run.

My dear and I went to Kenko Fish Spa at the Singapore Flyers and we went ahead to try out the fish spa over there. Personally, I feel that in my journey to success, it is very important to try out new stuff to have new experiences and leisure lifestyle is what I desired in my life so I must enjoy myself to my fullest. This is the first time I have tried out any spa and I can say that the fish spa is very interesting and entertaining as the fishes will eat away your dead skins on your legs. As you can see the above picture, our legs are been attacked by fishes and what they are trying to do is to eat our dead skins on our legs. We were told that other than eating away our dead skins, the fishes also help in blood circulation. While enjoying our time and having tea at the same time, we saw other people from overseas came into the shop to give the fish spa a try.

The first thing we need to do was to take off our shoes and after that wash it before going into the pond. Starting, you will feel quite itchy and most of the people will either scream or make a noise and I was one of them. However, once you get used to the itchness, you will tend to enjoy it as you will feel like there is electric current going through your legs. Do give Kenko Fish Spa a try if you manage to pass by their shop as it is very interesting to try out new stuff in life and most important is enjoy yourself during the process.

Cheers

Integrate Google Calendar to Improve Your Efficiency

Posted by JavierChua in

integrate_google_calendar

Most successful entrepreneur usually plan out their schedule of what they need to achieve by the week or month or even year through their schedule planner. The reason why they use a schedule planner is to remind them the task they need to do and keep them on track of their goals they want to achieve.

Personally, I do not have the habit of planning out my schedule and my To-Do-List of the week which caused me to get really lost of what needs to be done in order to achieve my goals. However, I am slowly exploring different ways that suits myself so that I can get hold of this habit of planning ahead in order to achieve the results I want in life. There are plenty of ways you can perform in terms of planning out your schedule, some people will prefer writing it down on a physical planner and some will do it using their handphone or even the internet. I bought myself a physical planner and also make use of the handphone to set reminders as sometimes we tend to forget some of the minor stuff that need to be settled. I also managed to find out that google has a very impressive calendar that allows us to set different layers of calendar that differentiate between your work and your personal stuff. Google Calendar even have reminders that allows you to set emails to your mail or SMS to your handphone for FREE. I have tried the SMS function out and was pretty glad that I learned this method after attending a course at my work place. The impressive part of google calendar is that it also allows you to keep track of your favourite soccer team game schedule through applying for the function. Another benefit about doing your weekly To-Do-List through google calendar is that you can repeat the same task throughout the week easily with a click of the mouse.

There’s a lot of things that you can try to integrate google calendar to improve your efficiency. However, I will still stick with my physical planner for the time being as I believe if you truely wants to integrate google calendar with great use, the best is to sync it with your phone. The current phone that I’m using does not allows wifi or sync function so I cannot grab the true power of google calendar. However, the most important thing is to plan ahead to prevent from drifted around by the surroundings. As what some great people always says “People Don’t Plan to Fail But They Usually Fail to Plan!”

Cheers

Learn Bites Size Theory From Expensive Driving Lesson Cost

Posted by JavierChua in

javier_chua_dream_car_honda_civic_hybrid

Have you ever learned how to drive a car before? If you did, you may roughly know how much it cost to learn how to drive a car before getting a license. Seeing a car on the road is a very common thing as it is a form of transportation and most young adult will want to learn how to drive once they reach the acceptable age of 18 (in Singapore). I am one of those young adult who wants to get a driving license but it took me about 5 years before I start my first driving lesson.

Why did it take me so long to start learning how to drive a car? The answer to the question is all due to my own personal belief system. Personally, I actually wanted to learn how to drive when I am age 18 but I always quite hesitant about spending the money to learn how to drive as i know from my friends and family members that the overall cost to get a driving license will take about 1500-2000 dollars. A few years back, I see the amount of money being quite significant to me as I have other commitment on hand which stop myself from spending the money to learn and I will usually give myself or my friends the excuse that my family does not own a car, why should I learn it now although my heart tells me that I want to learn it. …..Click here to read more

Are You Born to Know Everything?

Here’s an update of my current running status, I am running a total of 12 rounds (about 4.8KM) and increasing every week. One of the reasons why I want to increase the number of rounds per week is to listen to what my inner voice is telling me when I’m feeling tired and at the same time training myself to build my belief system to achieve greater limit in my life.

Yesterday, I was running at around 11am which is near noon time and I can say its considered the most tiring run I have so far as the sun was draining my energy faster than expected. However, I managed to go through my target of running 12 rounds around the park without stopping.

During my 12 rounds run, I met a little gal who was learning how to ride a bicycle. Although her bicycle was having 4 wheels, she still seems to have a fear of riding the bicycle as she was cycling very slowly towards her dad. …..Click here to read more

My Personal Video Vision Board

Posted by JavierChua in

Have you watched “The Secret” before? It’s a documentary movie that talks about the law of attraction and I truely believe that there is law of attraction in action as it did work for me before. I have been creating my own vision board on this blog through the use of PhotoBucket but I realized there is something missing whenever I review my own personal vision board. I managed to create static and movement type vision board on my desktop and on this blog but whenever I review the movement vision board, I realized there is no music to keep my spirit high. Therefore, I have decided to use Window Movie Maker to create my own video vision board.

The following is my video vision board:

The purpose of a vision board is to attract what we want in life and keep our mind focus in the process. I will keep an update on this blog whenever I manage to achieve any of the events that is listed in my video vision board.

Cheers

Javier

P.S. Create your own vision board too and enjoy the process of doing it.

Watch Food Inc To Be Aware Of The Food You Eat

Posted by JavierChua in

food-inc-poster

During the last Tony Robbins Unleash the Power Within event in Singapore, a documentary named Food Inc was introduced to those who attended the event. I have been searching high and low for weeks online and finally managed to find it uploaded on some streaming website. The documentary is a very meaningful show as it talks about how the food is been produced and how much harm it can cause to the people who eat the food in the long run.

I can say that I saw a lot of ugly truth after watching Food Inc and this really makes me ponder about whether the food that I eat really help me or harm me in the long run. After attending Tony Robbins’s seminar, I tend to question myself whenever I choose my choice of food as this allows me to be more aware of the food that I chose for my meal. I also started my quest on eating fruits about 1 hour before my meal every weekday (even at work) in order to get the nutrients out of fruits. I do starts to see more energy in myself compared to weeks before but I will continue this journey and see whether in the long run, I will be able to feel more energetic or not. Therefore, you can check out my blog once in a while to see my updates accordingly.

I do feel that having the right energy to persue your dreams is very important as you will not feel tired easily. As all of you know that energy is a very important criteria for all object movement, choosing the right food to eat is going to lead you towards having more energy or less energy. Therefore, make sure you are aware of what you are eating as eating junk food may just lower down your energy level in the long run.

Watch Food Inc Trailer here:

Cheers

Javier

P.S Remember to watch the documentary Food Inc and you will never look at your meal the same way.
